mk2 golf gti 16v :D

right finally got my self a decent motor
and love it to bits

shes a mk2 golf gti 1.8 16v 90 spec

was a 6 hour round trip to get her (thanks bubba )

sits on bbs wheels, on coilovers and a few other bits and bobs

now for some piccys











and both the gti s together







got some new plates on the way and some other stuff in the post

well thought i would be a whore and add another pic ive found

pretty happy with the attention shes getting

got some new wheels 2 weeks ago
will get some pics up soon

and future plans would be tidy her up a bit by
sorting the super gash door cards out
tidy the bay up
program my alarm properly
get my strutbraces (ordered them a month ago)
fit my new k and n cone as the other one is black as fook
etc etc

and my biggest plan is to keep it over a year unlike my other cars

finaly got my filter and changed it knew it was gunna be bad but wtf !?


she seems to pull better now

7.5J borbet A's? suprised your running a cone on the valver. They really prefer an airbox with a good cold air feed and panel filter. Looks lovely though i want another mk2

yep there 7.5 borbets just had a full refurb and got them cheap
the filter needed changing asap so just ordered a new one
she sounds lovely with the cone on
will look into getting a modified airbox
at some point

yeah i bet it sounds the nuts with the cone on 16vs sound so throaty. Wheels look good from the sneak peak shots

Well not much of an update but
the MK2 passed its MOT first time today so well chuffed with that
just proves that number plates in the window is legal
the guy said it looks mint and solid all over so pretty happy

finally got my strutbraces through front and back
all fitted and nice and shiny

the borbets have been sold well there going this weekend
and also getting some new wheels but they wont be going on till summer

so gunna be rolling on 14" mk2 gti bottle tops for winter wheels

bring on summer time
