The Cool Photo Thread

Yea, I'm in the process of regretting selling it (because I can't use the Ghia over the winter months, for fear of ruining the unmolested 47 year old paint/bodywork). I sorta hope that this time next year, I'll have a 1962 or earlier VW camper, slammed on its bum.

You can park it on my drive if you want?? =D lol

Hehe, if you mean the Ghia - Its now being stored in my dads garage... That was fun... Lots of planks of wood and thin slabs of concrete in order to get it over the about 4 inch hump, haha.

Haha, I'd be too busy driving it, if I had a camper. I willlll get another one at some point in the not too distant future! Problem is, they take a lot of effort or money to get low - which is one of the reasons I sold my old one... To get it as low as I wanted, I'd have needed to raise the steering box, notch the chassis, tub the front arches, chop 4 inches out of the beam, to tuck the wheels in enough to prevent the wheels rubbing the arches, and have the adjusters welded on again. Not cheap (and I don't have the skills to do any of that).

No. I posted it so people could post pics of whatever they think is cool, in order to expand my horizons, on what I think is cool. As it is, I only just uploaded those pics, as my friend with the mk.2 kept on at me about them, so thought I'd post a few here, as they fit into my definition of a "cool photo". As it is, I've only owned my car for 2 months, so am still at the stage where I still think its fudging cool, and as I love to take photos, I like to share them too.
