The Winter Hack Empty
PostSubject: The Winter Hack   The Winter Hack EmptyTue Dec 21, 2010 4:32 pm

Realised I didn't put up anything about my little winter hack whilst the M3 sits in the warm away from all the salts and poo on the road this time of year.

It's a...

Ford Fiesta 35 Van
Full smothed Zetec S Body Kit
Full respray in Ford Frozen White (the colour of the new RS's for those that might not know) with a panther black roof
Smoothed tailgate
Lowered 40mm on GMAX springs / shocks
Genuine 16x8 Escort Cosworth wheels
Full scorpion stainless exhaust (from RST Fiesta)
Puma carpet fitted,
Puma Centre Console
Puma gear knob,
Zetes S White Dials with working rev counter (Van didn't have rev counter)

Just had new brakes, tyres, injector pump, alternator belt, cambelt.

Currently have Zetec S seats fitted but I've a set of Recaro's to be fitted

Its doing it's job I guess, come Feb/March I plan to shift it. MOT is in March so I'll whack 12 months on it and 6 months tax and flog it.

It's got a few minor issues, bit of rust on the passenger rear side arch at the bottom which I'm told is fairly common on a 10 year old Fiesta, and where the recess on the rear panels where windows would be the paint has a slight crack.

Not really noticeable unless up close and looking intently.

I had planned to keep it and whack in a bigger engine and track it but ideally I want another Impreza or something similar to track.
